I will comprehensively assess your child's speech and language level and then provide verbal feedback and targets to help with your child's speech and language development. The assessment can take place in the setting you choose and where you think your child will be most settled. I am experienced in helping nervous children feel at ease when being assessed and helping confident children demonstrate their true communication abilities. Games and stickers are often used to help children through the assessment.

Assessment & Written Report

In addition to comprehensively assessing your child's speech and language level, I will then produce a written report that you can share with others, such as health care professionals, education settings etc. The assessment can take place in the setting you choose and where you think your child will be most settled. Games and stickers are often used to help children through the assessment. The report can then be emailed or posted to your home address. I strive to complete reports in a timely manor and I am more than happy to talk over the report with you if needed.

Therapy Session
£80
Following on from your child's assessment individual targets will then be set. Therapy session will then be tailored to help your child to work towards achieving these targets. During therapy, targets may be adapted as needed. It can take some time for children to meet their targets however the small steps towards meeting these will be celebrated and praised.
A therapy session could also include taking time talking with others who care for your child (e.g. Nursery Staff, Teachers, Childminders, Grandparents etc.) to help everyone understand the targets set and how to help your child to work towards these targets outside of therapy sessions.

Following assessment, I am able to offer a one off demonstration session that will give you some ideas that you could be doing with your child, should you decide that now is not the time for direct therapy sessions.

Early Years Setting Triage Assessments
£80 per hour
If you are an Early Years provider and you have concerns about a number of children in your care, you can contact me directly to request a triage morning/afternoon in which I will come in and assess any children you have concerns about and give you my feedback and next steps for these children.

Please note.
- I am able to travel up to 15 miles GU17 postcode. If you live outside of this area I may be able to travel further however an extra cost will be added to each session. Please contact me and I will try to make it possible to support you and your child.
- Invoices for the assessment sessions are sent following the assessment prior to the report being distributed.
- The number of therapy sessions each term will then be agreed and therapy can be paid for weekly or at the start of each term. (If there are any concern about payments please talk to me about this).
